Jeanette Watson, a 77-year-old woman from Newton County, Texas, went missing on August 28, 2006, under suspicious circumstances. She had left her home the previous day, intending to visit friends in Tenaha, Texas, but she never arrived. Watson was last seen at a truck stop in Logansport, Louisiana, playing slot machines. Despite her family's insistence that she did not gamble, people at the truck stop claimed she was a frequent visitor, and she won about $1,000 the night she disappeared.
