In the late summer of 2008, a 26-year-old woman named Alicia Anne Digna disappeared, leaving her family with years of unanswered questions. On August 27, 2008, Alicia was last seen in Romulus, Michigan. At the time she went missing, she was driving her burgundy 1992 Pontiac Grand Am. She was reportedly wearing black jean shorts and a white shirt. Her disappearance marked the beginning of a long and painful search for a cherished daughter and sister. A week after she was last seen, Alicia's car was discovered abandoned on the east side of Detroit, at the intersection of Mount Elliott and East Vernor. According to her family, a cell phone that did not belong to Alicia was found inside the vehicle. Her loved ones have stated that it was highly uncharacteristic of her to leave her car, as she valued the independence it provided her, especially given her health challenges. All of her personal belongings were left behind, and there has been no activity on her Social Security disability benefits or her medical insurance since she vanished. Alicia lived with serious medical conditions, including multiple sclerosis and an inoperable tumor on her lower spine, which required numerous medications and specialized care. Her health issues could lead to severe complications without proper medical attention. Alicia has several distinct physical characteristics that would aid in her identification. These include numerous surgical scars from past medical procedures, one on her back, one on her pelvic area, and another on her right wrist where a metal plate was implanted. She also has a unique tattoo on her right shoulder that says "Property of Charley Davidson," possibly with roses. Despite these identifying features and the relentless efforts of her family, who believe something was wrong as she would not have willingly cut off contact, her case remains unsolved. The passage of years has not brought any definitive answers, leaving a void in the lives of her nine brothers and sisters and the rest of her family who continue to hope for her return.
