Peggy Wynell Byars-Baisden, a 23-year-old mother of two, was last seen on April 2, 1965, in Highland City, Florida. She left her home between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., heading to the Chatterbox Bar, located near Eaton Park on Highway 98. Peggy was driving her light green 1959 Chevrolet coupe. Witnesses reported seeing her at the bar’s parking lot, where an unidentified Caucasian man appeared to be helping her with a mechanical issue involving her car.
