Debra Theresa Pscholka, a 12-year-old girl, was last seen on June 5, 1971, in Corona, California. On the day of her disappearance, Debra had gone to a movie theater on 6th Street with friends. After being asked to leave the theater for smoking, she told her friends she was headed to a nearby park. Debra never made it home and has not been seen since. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green and yellow striped blouse and blue Levi's jeans.
Authorities suspect foul play in Debra's case, as she had no history of running away and there has been no trace of her since that evening. Debra was described as a seventh-grade student at Corona Junior High School with a close-knit family, including three older brothers and a younger sister. Despite multiple searches and ongoing investigations, her whereabouts remain unknown. Her case remains classified as endangered missing, and foul play is strongly suspected. Investigators continue to pursue leads in the hope of finding answers to what happened to her that night.
Her case is still open, and the Corona Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward. An age progression of Debra to age 52 has been created to aid in the search for her.
