Gail Lorraine Joiner, a 13-year-old girl from Thonotosassa, Florida, went missing on September 22, 1972. On the day of her disappearance, Gail had come home from school, had a snack, and then left to take her pet raccoon, Bandit, for a walk. Witnesses reported seeing her standing near a white car parked at the edge of a work area, but no one saw her enter the vehicle. Neither Gail nor Bandit were ever seen again.
