Gary Locklear, a 15-year-old boy from North Charleston, South Carolina, went missing on September 6, 1974, the day before his 16th birthday. He was last seen around 10 p.m. walking along Remount Road in the Charleston Farms Community on his way to a friend's house. He never made it to his destination and has not been seen since. At the time of his disappearance, Gary was barefoot and wearing a cross necklace. He left all of his belongings, including his wallet, at home.
