Geneva Verneal Adams, aged 53, disappeared on the night of July 24, 1976, after an evening out at the Artesian Lounge in Herculaneum, Missouri. That evening, she went dancing with her daughter, who later left the lounge while Geneva stayed behind to continue dancing with a man she had met earlier in the night.
