Timothy Patrick Guthrie Jr., a 3-year-old boy, went missing on February 5, 1977, along with his 6-year-old sister, Julie, and their mother, Leslie Guthrie. They were last seen in Katonah, New York, after Leslie picked up her children from their father's home on Grandview Avenue. The three left in a white 1974 Ford Maverick with a green roof and New York license plate 636-WNA. The vehicle and the family have not been seen since.
At the time, Leslie was separated from Timothy Sr., but they maintained an amicable relationship. When Leslie and the children didn’t return, Timothy Sr. initially assumed they had spent the night at Leslie’s mother’s home in White Plains. However, when they didn't return the next day, he reported them missing. Despite extensive searches and the hiring of a private investigator, no trace of Leslie, Julie, or Timothy, nor their vehicle, has ever been found.
