On February 28, 1981, 12-year-old Brian Richard Bleyl, a male child living in Phoenix, Arizona, set out on an ordinary Saturday task and never returned. At approximately 3:00 p.m., Brian was seen in the area of North 9th Avenue and West Myrtle Avenue, riding his bicycle as he worked his newspaper route and collected money from customers.
