In the autumn of 1982, a 17-year-old girl named Mindi Chambers vanished from Tempe, Arizona, initiating a mystery that would span decades. On the morning of October 19th, Mindi was at her stepmother's home in the 2100 block of East University Avenue. She reportedly walked her two younger stepsisters to school, a seemingly routine act that would be her last confirmed activity.
