Kristi Lynn Vorak, a 13-year-old girl from Tacoma, Washington, went missing on October 31, 1982. She was last seen leaving her foster home on Halloween night and was reported missing shortly afterward. There was an unconfirmed sighting of her later that evening at a bus depot in Seattle. Kristi had no history of running away, but she did occasionally frequent the streets of Tacoma.
