Michael Ray Mayfield, age 6, was last seen on January 10, 1985, in Houston, Texas. He was walking home from Betsy Ross Elementary School with his 5-year-old sister, Pamela. Both children were kindergarten students at the time—Michael was repeating the year. Witnesses reported seeing the siblings getting into a green vehicle driven by an unidentified man. Despite efforts to locate them, neither child has been heard from since.
