In the spring of 1985, a 15-year-old boy named Joe Merral Puckett vanished from Paducah, Kentucky, leaving behind a swirl of unanswered questions. On May 1st of that year, Joe visited his mother at her workplace, the BFW on Washington Street. He borrowed $20 from her, and the two had a verbal disagreement.
