Tamara "Tammy" Porrin, a 15-year-old girl from DuBois, Pennsylvania, disappeared on November 22, 1986. She was a student at DuBois Junior High School, but her attendance had become sporadic, and she was often in conflict with her parents. Her sister, who was away at college, reported her missing when she returned home for Thanksgiving and found Tamara gone. Despite her parents initially believing she had run away, there was no trace of her after her disappearance.
