Michael Masaoay, a 16-year-old student from San Francisco, was last seen on January 25, 1989. He left his home around 7:30 AM, heading to Sacred Heart High School, unaware that it was closed that day. Despite being sighted later that morning at Ninth and Harrison Streets and again in the afternoon at Seventh and Market Streets, he never returned home. He was last seen carrying a dark blue duffel bag containing schoolbooks and his clarinet.
