Tiwana Denise Cheatham, also known by variations of her name such as Tilwanda or Tawana, was last seen on August 11, 1989, in Aiken, South Carolina. The eight-year-old girl became upset after her mother told her she had to return home. After taking some spare change from a jar in her mother’s kitchen, Tiwana left the house. She was last seen by neighbors at around 5:30 p.m. at a nearby Quik Stop convenience store, just a few blocks away.
