Martha Wes Dunn, a 15-year-old from Daingerfield, Texas, was last seen on September 5, 1990. After returning from a visit with relatives in Oklahoma, Martha had a disagreement with her parents. Later that evening, she was on the phone with her 17-year-old boyfriend, Eric Glenn Owens, but by the next morning, both she and Eric had disappeared.
There were several reported sightings of the pair in Oklahoma and possibly Kansas, where Eric's mother lived, but none of these leads have
been confirmed. A friend of Martha's father claimed to have seen them in Durant, Oklahoma, in late September, describing them as "dirty and hungry." However, law enforcement was unable to locate them.
Both Martha and Eric were reportedly involved in drug use at the time of their disappearance, leading some to speculate that their vanishing may have been drug-related. Despite extensive searches, there has been no evidence of foul play, and authorities believe they may have left voluntarily. The case remains unsolved, with investigations continuing in hopes of locating them.
