Thomas Dean Gibson, a two-year-old boy, disappeared from the front yard of his family's home in rural Azalea, Oregon, on March 18, 1991. His father, Larry Gibson, a Douglas County Sheriff's deputy, reported that he had been jogging on their property at the time of Thomas’s disappearance. Larry claimed that he last saw Thomas playing outside and that when he returned from his jog, his son was missing.
