Carolyn "Carrie" Lawson, a 25-year-old attorney from Jasper, Alabama, was abducted from her home on September 11, 1991, in a meticulously planned kidnapping. Early that morning, Carrie and her husband Earl received a phone call from a woman claiming to be a nurse, informing them that a family member had been hospitalized.
