Laurie Depies, a 20-year-old woman from the Town of Menasha, Wisconsin, was last seen on the night of August 19, 1992. After leaving her job at the Fox River Mall in Appleton, Laurie drove to her boyfriend’s apartment complex on West Wilson Avenue. Her boyfriend, his sister, and a friend heard her car pull into the lot around 10:15 p.m., but Laurie never entered the apartment.
