Sara Anne Wood, a 12-year-old girl from Litchfield, New York, went missing on August 18, 1993. She was last seen riding her bicycle home from Norwich Corners Church, less than a mile from her house. Her pink and white bicycle, along with the church supplies she had collected, was later found near a tree off Hacadam Road, but there was no trace of Sara. The extensive search efforts, which involved both authorities and hundreds of volunteers, failed to locate her.
