Perry Grant Matheson, 51, was last seen on the morning of September 30, 1993, in Barre, Vermont. He lived with his brother and was reportedly upset over their mother’s recent illness. At around 9:30 a.m., Perry left the house in his 1989 Toyota Corolla and never returned. His vehicle was later found burned in the White Mountain National Forest, near Kancamagus Highway in Albany, New Hampshire. Despite extensive searches of the surrounding area, no sign of Perry has ever been found.
