Charles Franklin Hoekstra, a 43-year-old man, went missing on December 9, 1993, in Rowlett, Texas. He was last seen leaving for work at the Superconducting Super Collider facility, where he was employed as a structural engineer. Hoekstra never arrived at his workplace, and this marked the beginning of a mystery that remains unsolved to this day.
