Erik Sol Patchin, a 20-year-old student from Tallahassee, Florida, was last seen on May 24, 1994, after leaving a local bar with a female friend. He had been attending a poetry reading that evening. After dropping off his friend at her residence, Erik continued driving alone. He was last seen around 2:00 a.m., and a few hours later, his 1972 silver Volkswagen Beetle was found abandoned at a Jr. Food Store parking lot on US 27 South.
Inside the vehicle, investigators found personal items, including his skateboard and a book of poetry he had written. There were no signs of a struggle or forced entry into the car, and Erik has not been seen since.
Some reports suggest that Erik might have encountered dangerous individuals before his disappearance, with speculation involving drug dealers in the area. Despite several leads, no solid evidence has been uncovered, and Erik's case remains unsolved. Erik was a student at Tallahassee Community College and worked as a part-time DJ at a local radio station. His family and authorities continue to seek information that could provide answers regarding his disappearance.Last Seen: May 24, 1994
