Dudley Truett Scott, a 52-year-old man from Splendora, Texas, went missing on December 16, 1994. Scott, who had Down syndrome and was mute, required medication to manage disorientation and seizures. On the day of his disappearance, he was last seen walking into a wooded area near his home on Creekwood Drive. He was reportedly upset that day, and it is believed he might have been trying to reach relatives in Gladewater, Texas, located nearly 200 miles away.
Despite extensive searches, he has not been seen since.
At the time of his disappearance, Scott was wearing blue short-sleeved coveralls, blue boxer shorts, and brown lace-up boots. He also carried two wallets, a homemade identification card, and a Swiss Army knife. His case remains unsolved, and authorities suspect foul play may be involved. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety have both been involved in the investigation, with DNA from family members submitted to assist in identifying any remains that may be found.Last Seen: Dec 16, 1994
