Joseph Morawski, a 72-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer's disease, was last seen on October 6, 1999, near his home on Diamond Avenue in Salem, New Hampshire. He walked away from his residence while his wife was hanging laundry. Morawski, who was known for frequent walks, had previously wandered off but was always found safe, often at local spots like McDonald’s or Dunkin’ Donuts along Route 28 in Methuen or Salem.
