Manuel V. Delatorre, a 45-year-old man from Lake Worth, Florida, was last seen on March 8, 2000. On the evening of his disappearance, Delatorre left his residence after calling a taxi. The driver took him to a plaza near Interstate 4 in Orlando, close to Disney World. After arriving, Delatorre made a phone call from a booth and told the taxi driver he would take a Greyhound bus back to West Palm Beach the next day. However, after this phone call, Delatorre was never heard from again.
At the time of his disappearance, Delatorre was described as being 5'4" tall, weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue and burgundy shirt, blue slacks, and boots, and had distinctive scars on both ankles. His case remains unsolved, with few details emerging since he went missing.
