In the late summer of 2002, a quiet disappearance would leave a family with unanswered questions for years to come. On August 5th, 29-year-old Anthony 'Danny' Medearis, a resident of Bismarck, Missouri, informed the staff at the Colonial Residential Care Center that he was going for a walk in town.
