Eric Dewayne Blevins, a 23-year-old from Selma, Alabama, was last seen on July 29, 2005. He had been staying with family at his cousin's home on Lamar Street before leaving on foot to visit friends at Merrimac Apartments after a brief stay at the Travelers Inn on Highland Avenue. Despite witness reports of seeing him in the Merrimac area, he was never heard from again. Blevins had been unemployed at the time but was preparing to enroll in truck driving school the following month.
