Dori Ann Myers, a 43-year-old woman from Fort Pierce, Florida, went missing on January 10, 2006. That evening, she was last seen at the St. Lucie Inn, where she interacted with two unidentified men who claimed to be Marines injured in Iraq. Known for her kindness toward military personnel, Dori invited the men to stay at her home for the night. Neighbors later reported hearing a commotion at her home around midnight, but no one intervened.
