On November 2, 2007, a 45-year-old man named Jerry Lynn Whaley was seen by a family member in Sullivan, Missouri, for what would be the last time. Just prior to vanishing, Jerry, who was also known as Lynn or Terry Whaley, had been residing in a motel in the neighboring community of Stanton.
