Missing

Walter Earl Culp Jr., 32, was last seen on July 16, 2009, while boating with his friend and boss, Bobbie J. Brown, on the Mississippi River near Crystal City, Missouri. A sudden thunderstorm developed around 6 p.m., and during the storm, Culp reportedly fell overboard. Witnesses suggested that he might have been struck by lightning, which could have caused him to fall into the river. Despite an extensive search of the river, no trace of Culp was ever found.
