Rebecca "Becky" Rodriguez, a 16-year-old, was last seen on the evening of July 16, 1977, in Brentwood, California. She was with her older sister, 19-year-old Evangeline Silva, and Silva’s boyfriend, Kenneth John Beltram. The trio had spent time in Brentwood Park before telling others they were heading either to Oakley or Hogg Island. Rebecca and her sister were last seen getting into Beltram’s car.
Beltram was reportedly seen the next morning without the two women, and neither he nor the sisters were ever heard from again. His car, a pearl-white 1960 Chevrolet with a large dent, was spotted weeks later being driven by an unidentified man, but the vehicle and its occupants vanished before they could be traced. Despite searches, no significant leads have emerged, and the circumstances of their disappearance remain suspicious.
Authorities have investigated several possibilities, including the involvement of foul play, but no conclusions have been drawn.
