Richard James Romano, 28, was last seen on March 4, 1980, at his home in Largo, Florida. On that day, he was visited by his brother and sister-in-law, after which he was never heard from again. It is reported that Romano had ties to drug trafficking in the Miami area, a detail that caused his brother to delay reporting his disappearance until October 1984, more than four years later.
