Deborah Kim Green, known as "Kim," was last seen on May 30, 1982, in Lake Worth, Florida. She was 20 years old at the time and worked as a bank teller while living with her mother. That day, Kim had left home to go shopping at a mall in Jupiter, Florida. The last confirmed sighting of her was around noon, when she was getting gas at a J.C. Penney store located at the Palm Beach Mall. She was driving her blue 1978 Chevrolet Camaro, which bore the Florida license plate PTR378.
On June 3, 1982, her car was found abandoned in the parking lot of Big Daddy’s Lounge in West Palm Beach under suspicious circumstances. Despite the discovery of her vehicle, there has been no sign of Kim herself. Authorities have suspected foul play in her disappearance, and a potential suspect in the case failed a polygraph test. Additionally, a stain resembling blood was found in the suspect’s warehouse, but the sample was too small for conclusive testing. Despite the efforts of investigators, Kim's case remains unsolved, and she has not been heard from since.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate, and the case is classified as endangered missing, suggesting the authorities suspect serious harm may have come to Kim. Public tips and new leads are still being sought as part of efforts to finally resolve the case.
