Frankie Viola Hurst, aged 25, was last heard from on May 14, 1989, when she called her mother on Mother's Day. At the time, Frankie was traveling with a female friend, hitchhiking across several states. She had been staying with a man named Bob in Kansas and had told her mother she was planning to return to South Carolina. However, she never made it home and has not been heard from since.
