William Dean Ponder, aged 41, went missing on August 28, 1993, from Chesnee, South Carolina. That evening, he had been out with friends at J's Tavern near his home. After their time together, Ponder was dropped off at the Martin Feed Mill on Parris Bridge Road by his friends. He was never heard from again. His father reported him missing on September 2.
