Karen Sue Laird, a 33-year-old woman, disappeared from Tampa, Florida, on August 5, 1994. She was last seen at her residence near Nebraska Avenue, where she got into a black Chevrolet Blazer with an unidentified man. This man, described as a white male between the ages of 35 and 45, had thinning hair and claimed to be a long-distance trucker. This was the last confirmed sighting of Karen, and she has not been seen or heard from since.
