Billie Jo Hughes, 20, was last seen on July 6, 2000, in Williamston, South Carolina. She had visited friends in the area and later caught a ride to the intersection of Highway 8 and Highway 20 in Pelzer. Witnesses reported seeing her walk towards a pay phone, but she has not been seen or heard from since.
