On a cold Christmas Eve in 2001, 28-year-old Edward J. Fuller was last seen in Buffalo, New York. That evening, what began as a night out took a sharp and mysterious turn. Friends reported seeing him at a nightclub on South Ogden Street. Shortly after, at approximately 2:00 a.m., his pickup truck was discovered crashed into a tree near 323 South Ogden Street. According to accounts from witnesses at the scene, Fuller exited his damaged vehicle and fled on foot, disappearing into the surrounding yards in the vicinity of Cazenovia Creek. He has not been seen or heard from since that moment. At the time he went missing, Edward Fuller was a white male, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 185 pounds. He had blond or strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. He had a mustache and several distinct tattoos, including an eagle with a U.S. flag on his right bicep, the word "Evil" on his right forearm, and a skeleton on his right calf. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black leather jacket, a black v-neck sweater, black pants, and black shoes. He was also believed to be carrying a blue wallet. The airbag in his truck had deployed during the crash, which has led to speculation that he may have been disoriented or injured, causing him to panic and run from the scene. The investigation into Edward Fuller's disappearance was handled by the Buffalo Police Department. Despite searches of the area where he was last seen, no trace of him was ever found.
