Jake Grant, a 12-year-old boy, disappeared on May 9, 2003, from Freeport, Grand Bahama. His disappearance was the first in a series of abductions that shook the island community. Jake was last seen after telling his sister he would be right back, but he never returned. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a yellow polo shirt, black slippers, and Tommy Hilfiger shorts. There was an immediate search, but no significant leads emerged.
