Michael Jerome Zipfel, a 45-year-old man, was last seen on June 1, 2004, in Coppell, Texas. At the time of his disappearance, Zipfel was struggling with mental health issues and drug addiction, which had worsened after a divorce left him homeless. He had previously been evaluated at Parkland Hospital in 2003 for his mental state and was released from jail in December 2004, just a few months before he vanished. He has not been heard from since.
