Thomas Thurston Missing Person Case

Thomas Michael Thurston, a 19-year-old man, was last seen on November 7, 2005, in Ukiah, California. He had gone on a camping trip to the Cow Mountain area with a friend. On the night of his disappearance, around 2:00 AM, Thomas asked to borrow a flashlight to go to the bathroom outside their tent. After he left, he did not return, and despite the friend’s efforts to search for him, Thomas was never found.

The following day, the friend reported Thomas missing, prompting a search by the Mendocino County Sheriff's Department. Search efforts included deputies and volunteers scouring the area, but they were unable to locate him. Thomas was described as being approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 160 to 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

As time has passed, Thomas Thurston's case has remained open, categorized as an endangered missing person. Unfortunately, there have been few leads regarding his whereabouts since that night. The Mendocino County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
