Gloria Virginia Walker’s life took a turn into the unknown on the late evening of Sunday, May 20, 2007, in Cleveland, Ohio. At approximately 11:00 PM, the 46-year-old left her home to drive a friend home, a simple act of kindness that marked the beginning of a long and painful mystery for her loved ones. She was driving a black 1995 Chevrolet Lumina, a vehicle that would later become a key piece of the investigation. Ms. Walker, known affectionately as "Glo" or "Nero" to her friends and family, was last seen wearing red jogging pants, a tank top, and open-toed sandals. She also wore a distinctive cloth necklace that held her keys and a pink and red baby pacifier or rattle. Concern grew when Gloria, who also used the last names Coleman, Herod, Turner, and Walker-Herod, failed to return home or make contact with her family. Five days after she was last seen, her brother officially reported her as a missing person. The investigation began, but clues were scarce. A significant development came weeks later when the Chevrolet Lumina she had been driving was discovered abandoned. The car was found behind a vacant warehouse in the Harvard/Fleet area of Cleveland, offering no immediate answers as to Gloria's whereabouts. Her vehicle was seen at a gas station at East 49th and Harvard near the freeway on the night she disappeared, but what happened after that remains unclear. The years have passed with no resolution in Gloria Walker's case, leaving her family grappling with unanswered questions and the ache of her absence. Described as a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes, she stood between 5'2" and 5'6" tall. She has several identifying marks, including scars on her right arm, left forearm, and a surgical scar on her right knee, as well as pierced ears. Despite the passage of time, the Cleveland Police Department's investigation remains open, and her family continues to hope for answers, believing that someone has information that could bring an end to their prolonged uncertainty. The case serves as a somber reminder of a life interrupted and a family left in limbo, holding onto hope for a resolution to her disappearance.
