William Charles Jones, aged 48, was last seen on January 31, 2009, in Milford, Ohio. On the day of his disappearance, which was also his birthday, Jones was dropped off at a residential care home on Mound Avenue. He left his apartment unlocked, without taking his wallet or keys, and has not been seen or heard from since. Although Jones did not drive, it is suspected that he may have called someone to pick him up that day.
