Christina Voltaire, a 22-year-old student studying nuclear medicine at Keiser University, was last seen on January 8, 2011, at her apartment in Winter Haven, Florida. On the day of her disappearance, Christina's friend Charles Pierre-Gilles visited her to borrow her car after his vehicle broke down. Christina, feeling unwell, was in her black nightgown, sipping tea and sitting in bed. Charles borrowed her car, but when he returned less than an hour later, Christina was gone. Her robe was found on the bed, and all of her personal belongings, including her keys and purse, were still in the apartment. There were no signs of struggle.

The investigation revealed that Christina had been coping with the death of her one-year-old daughter, which had occurred a year prior. However, her family insisted she was not suicidal and was making plans to move back to Palm Bay to be closer to her family. Christina's ex-boyfriend, Dieuseul Pierre-Gilles, who was Charles’s brother, refused to cooperate with the investigation and quickly hired a lawyer. Christina had expressed fear of Dieuseul, describing him as aggressive and jealous, although he denied involvement in her disappearance.

Despite thorough investigations, Christina has never been found, and her case remains unsolved. Law enforcement believes she may be in danger and continues to search for leads.
