Behdokht Behnia Pyke, a 29-year-old woman, was last seen in Miami Gardens, Florida, on August 29, 1981. Little is known about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, and the case has remained unsolved for decades. Pyke's life leading up to her disappearance is largely a mystery, with no records indicating her employment or other significant activities. She has not been heard from since the day she vanished, and there were few details reported at the time, leaving investigators with limited leads.
Authorities revisited the case several times over the years, including an effort in 2016, when police conducted searches in Miami Gardens, focusing on the Lakes of Acadia neighborhood. Investigators dug up a patio at a townhouse connected to her last known residence, but no conclusive evidence was found. Behdokht's case remains open, and law enforcement has not ruled out the possibility of foul play. Despite extensive searches and interviews with family members, Pyke's fate remains unknown.
