Patricia Margaret Sullivan, a 35-year-old woman, went missing on November 25, 1992, from Butte, Montana, the day before her 36th birthday. Patricia, known as Patty, had recently completed an alcohol treatment program and was staying with her sister in Missoula. On Thanksgiving Day, she traveled with her sister and her sister’s boyfriend to Butte to celebrate with their mother. While her companions went inside her mother's house, Patricia remained in the car. When her sister checked on her moments later, Patricia had disappeared.
Investigators later learned that Patricia visited two bars in Butte that evening. After leaving her mother's house, she went to Muzz and Stan’s Bar, where she asked for a ride to Harrington's Bar.
She was seen inside Harrington’s and left with an unknown man. That was the last confirmed sighting of her. Despite extensive efforts, including rumors that she was taken to Idaho and murdered, no concrete evidence has emerged.
