Federico Ventura Supnet, a 76-year-old man from Half Moon Bay, California, was last seen on April 5, 1997, in Oasis, Riverside County, California. He was visiting the Agua Tech fish farm in the area with his family for the day. Supnet, who suffered from occasional disorientation and memory loss, walked into a nearby vineyard after leaving the residence to use the restroom. He has not been seen since.
Federico, who was unfamiliar with the area, did not have any identification or money with him when he disappeared. His family reported that he was wearing blue jeans, a red and black acrylic sweater, a green polo shirt, and white Reebok sneakers. He also carried a plastic bag containing a lighter and cigarettes. Despite extensive searches, including investigations by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, no trace of him has been found.
Supnet’s family noted that he spoke primarily Ilocano, a Filipino dialect, and had limited English and Spanish. Given his memory issues, it is possible that he became lost in the vineyard or disoriented during his walk. His case remains unsolved, and investigators continue to appeal for any information that might lead to his whereabouts.
