In the early spring of 2002, a young life was forever altered when two-year-old Michelle Ileana Uribe-Ramos vanished from Denver, Colorado. On or around March 1st of that year, Michelle, along with her younger sister, Ligia, was taken by her mother, Leticia Ramos. This act was in direct violation of a court order, a detail that adds a layer of complexity and distress to the circumstances of the children's disappearance.
